As a Cyber Security Operations Specialist, you'll be part of a mission‑driven team where security is central to everything—from strategic threat analysis to real‑time incident response. Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage cybersecurity tools and technologies, including setup, troubleshooting, and tuning for effective threat detection and response. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure security solutions align with business goals and strategies. Stay updated on new threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices to improve Security Operations. Prioritize and analyze security alerts, assessing severity and impact. Lead incident response, investigation, and recovery efforts. Perform proactive threat hunting to detect and address risks early. Create and maintain response playbooks and procedures for consistent handling. Support digital forensics and e-Discovery for incident and legal needs. Research threat actors to understand their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Gather and enhance actionable Threat Intelligence (TI) to aid decision‑making. Conduct research to strengthen both defensive and offensive security. Present intelligence insights across Strategic to Technical levels. Use TI to guide alert prioritization and incident response strategies. Write reports and promote awareness on vulnerabilities and threat trends. Conduct regular incident simulations and tabletop exercises to improve readiness. Requirements 5-10 years of hands‑on experience with key cybersecurity technologies and tools such as SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability Management, Secure Web Gateways, Open Source tools, and OSINT. Ability to identify areas for improvement, break them into manageable tasks, and implement technical solutions effectively. Track record of successfully managing and responding to cyber incidents. Proven skills in proactive threat hunting using advanced tools and methodologies to detect hidden threats. Strong grasp of network security concepts and communication protocols. Capable of analyzing system and application logs to detect anomalies and security breaches. Familiarity with container technologies and their associated security challenges. Competence in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) is highly desirable. An enthusiastic mindset with a desire to deepen cloud security expertise. Dedication to continuous learning and keeping pace with new cybersecurity developments and trends. Excellent collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a diverse team environment. Sharp analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities, particularly in optimizing or automating security operations and threat intelligence tools.
