Position Overview Our client is a leading construction company; they are seeking a System Engineer to support their system, network, and cloud infrastructure planning and implementation. Responsibilities Support project planning and implementation of system, network, cloud infrastructure services Oversee Level 2–3 incidents escalation, root cause analysis, and preventive controls Strengthen network security controls including firewall policies, encryption, and network access governance Manage project risk and designing risk mitigation plan Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on infrastructure planning and support Manage IT procurement and maintain accurate asset records Liaise with relevant parties on user requirements, UAT testing, implementation and deployment Requirements Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology or related field 5 years of experience in a system engineer role, with proven experience in managing large‑scale infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of network protocols, server management, and system administration Experience in security technologies implementation using firewall, VPN, DLP, IPS, Anti‑Virus, etc. Expertise in implementing and maintaining security solutions, such as firewalls, and access controls Knowledge with cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP etc.) Relevant IT certifications are a plus (e.g. ITIL, CISSAP, CISM, CISA, CEH) Salary Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
