  • An international bank is looking for a a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Manager to join their FICC and Equities COO Office. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, optimising business processes, and ensuring operational excellence within the FICC and Equities front office divisions.

Your new role

  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the bank's overall objectives.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations within the FICC and Equities divisions, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage key projects, from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, clients, and other business units.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring robust risk management frameworks are in place.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role of Business Management within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on FICC and Equities COO Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, products, and regulatory requirements related to FICC and Equities.
