Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain FX products quotation and execution platform for Treasury
- Develop RESTful API and event driven micro-services using Kafka
- Communicate with sales traders for business requirements
- Collaborate with the team and vendor on technical design and technical solutions review
- Create technical and functional specifications and documentation
- Hands on development and follow through code review, QA/SIT/UAT, go-live cycles
- Provide support to production environment
- Demonstrate good judgment under the pressure of dealing with time critical situations
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant disciplines
- At least 8 years' experience as software engineer, preferably in banking or financial service industry
- Proven track records in Core Java development (Java 8+ and Spring Boot)
- Proven experience in multi-threaded, messaging, low latency and testing framework are required
- Proficiency in relational databases and Linux scripting
- Proven experience in FIX protocol development
- Good knowledge of FX products (Forward, NDF and Swap, etc)
- Experience in Refinitiv ET is a great plus
- Strong logical thinking, attention to details, well organized and solution oriented
- Strong vendor management skills and experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Good team player, able to coach team members, proactive and innovative
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
