Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute objectives, guidelines and strategies of debt securities investment, as well as liquidity, funding and interest rate management
  • Support Department Head in supervising the operation and administration of the Capital Markets & Liquidity Management Department
  • Support Department Head in monitoring the budget (risk & return) performance
  • Motivate & monitor the team to achieve performance target


Requirements

  • University graduate, preferably major in Finance;  
  • Chartered Financial Analyst, Member of Treasury Markets Association or ECF-TM Qualification is preferred;
  • Relevant HKIB qualification would be an advantage
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in banking treasury or fixed income investment industry with proven track record in achieving profit targets;
  • Solid experience on trading and investing debt securities like certificates of deposit, commercial papers, corporate bonds, central bank bills, government debts and structured notes
  • Sound knowledge on derivative products like interest rate swap, cross currency swap, credit default swap, etc
  • Familiar with market risk and credit risk limits set by banks and regulatory bodies
  • Knowledge of regulatory framework in liquidity and funding management (e.g. LCR, NSFR) and interest rate risk in banking book (IRRBB) preferred
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
