IT User Support Analyst

Our Global Investment Bank Client is looking for an IT User Support Analyst to join their IT Infrastructure Support Team in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve PC-related hardware, printer, and software issues, escalating more complex problems to 2nd level IT support or external vendors as needed.
- Install and troubleshoot various computer-related tasks, including networking, systems integration, printers, IPT, software, and hardware configurations.
- Support the dealerboard system and provide assistance with daily office automation systems.
- Manage IT helpdesk operations by responding to support calls during scheduled shifts.
- Follow up on user requests for purchasing and service subscriptions.
- Maintain IT inventory, and ensure documentation and procedures are regularly updated.
- Oversee internal relocation of PCs, LCDs, and printers.
- Set up and troubleshoot internal video conference meetings.
Role Requirements
- Diploma or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support, including network administration and system operations.
- Familiarity with market data systems and third-party applications such as Reuters, Bloomberg, EBS, and Etrali.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, MS Exchange, and MS SQL.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with users at all levels; ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in spoken and written English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis, including on-call support, weekends, and public holidays.
- Successful candidates will be considered for a permanent position.
- Previous experience supporting front office and private banking environments is a plus.
