Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a sub-small team to supervise daily process and monitor staff performance to ensure adherence to SLA, accuracy and correctness and comply to bank policies and regulatory requirements;
  • Perform daily operational jobs in the team in an efficient and timely manner to meet customer expectation as well as other administrative jobs
  • Maintain good operational control to prevent any complaints and losses
  • Handle internal and external customer compliant tactfully and timely for problem solving and escalate to supervisor if any problem ;
  • Provide periodic operational reports and management reports as required ;
  • Perform checking and reconcilement of general ledgers and other system records on timely basis ;
  • Make recommendations to streamline the workflow to improve the efficiency and quality of services and update the operation manual ;
  • Assist team leader to prepare the BCP Plan and conduct drill test;
  • Act as various coordinator as assigned by supervisor ;
  • Promote the staff awareness on regulatory and compliance requirements and internal control standards ;
  • Assist team leader on periodic risk based self assessment and ensure exception/ non-compliance issues and assist to rectify any issue properly and timely ;
  • Provide support in project and assist to plan, coordinate and conduct testing on various systems enhancements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness in daily operations and resources planning to cope with launch of new products / services / process
  • Ensure relevant activities can meet the respective cutoff set by HKICL
  • Willing to work morning or night shift from 07:00 - 16:00 or 14:00 - 22:00, if needed

Requirements
  • Degree holder
  • Knowledge of consumer banking practices & procedures ;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in consumer banking operations and supervisor role with people management experience is an advantage;
  • Good MS Office skill and prepare power point presentation
  • Ability to guide individual towards achieving the team's goals ;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills ;
  • Good sense of risk awareness ;
  • Able to perform teamwork & collaborate with subordinates ;
  • Knowledge of consumer banking operations including activities relating to auto payment, paper cheque, electronic clearing
  • Good problem solving skills ;
  • Good in both written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in MS Office ;
