As a Garment Technician (Women/Men/Kids), you will be responsible for creating fitting tech packs following Asia & International body standards. You will perform fitting sessions on live models & dummies and handle the fitting and workmanship comments from the 1st prototype until OK FIT (counter/size set). You will work with vendors to achieve the desired fitting/workmanship and conduct risk assessments during the development stage to identify any potential risks that need modification before PPS.

In this position, you will collaborate with different departments (Collection, Product Developer, HQ Fitting Team, Quality, Sourcing, Marketing, Supply Chain, Vendor).

In line with the CSR values of the brand, you will accomplish your mission by following the strategic axes defined by the company.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Collaborate with Product Developer in HK & HQs Fitting Team in France.
  2. Coach vendors on modifications and answer vendor's questions. Validate nest patterns once the fitting of the style is approved.
  3. Undertake product risk assessments in terms of Fit & Construction to HQ & market.
  4. Coordinate with QC team to resolve PPS stage issues on fitting & workmanship.
  5. Review sketches received from the Design Team to ensure information is complete & clear.
  6. Create measurement specifications based on body standards.
  7. Perform sample requests in PLM.
  8. Conduct the ASIA FIT (adaptation of European fit style).
  9. Perform fitting sessions on models and dummies to prepare comments from the 1st prototype until OK Fit (counter/size set).
  10. Request & study CAP from vendors on modifications to fitting.
  11. Arrange training for new vendors on company fitting processes & requirements.
  12. Visit sample rooms of vendors & factories to assess their ability to fulfill sample requests.
  13. Participate & contribute to the Basic Block Project using 2D & progress with 3D.
