At 蘊 YUN WELLNESS, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Spa Trainer to join our growing team. The Spa Trainer will be responsible for developing and conducting effective training programs for our spa staff to ensure top-notch service quality and customer satisfaction. This role demands a blend of expertise in spa-related services and a passion for teaching and mentoring.

We are looking for a Spa Trainer based at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong

As a Spa Trainer, we rely on you to:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for a wide range of spa services, including therapeutic, holistic, and beauty treatments, massages, facials, and body treatments in line with the protocols and standards.
  2. Conduct hands-on training sessions for new hires related to product knowledge, protocols, and treatment practices, as well as ongoing training for existing spa staff to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  3. Evaluate the performance of trainees and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
  4. Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in the spa industry and incorporate them into the training modules.
  5. Assist in the development and updating of training materials and manuals to ensure they align with current industry standards.
  6. Maintain an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint of the customer journey.
  7. Be responsible for meeting retail and service individual targets and KPIs (key performance indicators).
  8. Ensure workstations are clean, presentable, and well-stocked with the necessary products and tools/equipment required to carry out the full range of treatments and necessary tasks.
  9. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisors.

We are looking for someone who has:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the spa industry, with hands-on experience in various spa treatments; preferably in a hospitality background.
  2. Previous experience in a training or mentoring role is highly preferred.
  3. With CIDESCO / CIBTAC / ITEC / WSQ qualifications and other recognized certificates will be an advantage.
  4. Strong understanding of spa operations and customer service excellence.
  5. Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven record in managing the team to drive revenue and achieve target performance.
  6. Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  7. Proficient in developing training programs and materials; familiar with MS Office applications.
  8. Excellent command of English; Chinese would be a plus.
