HBX is looking for a talented Managing Editor for its HBX Media sector of content. For the retail/e-comm arm of HYPEBEAST, the HBX Managing Editor will be responsible for managing and creating engaging, compelling, and long-lasting content that tells strong stories while supporting the efforts of HBX's sale of consumer products and offerings. Ideally, the Managing Editor is well-versed in all mediums of content publication, from digital formats like website to social media platforms and even print format. A dynamic mindset that can freely traverse between these mediums will be key to success for this role – using the assets from one format and repurposing them for another is an example, while also creating a completely different strategy for different formats is another. After content is complete, it is expected of the Managing Editor to measure and track the success of each piece, coordinate content rollouts, work alongside other departments for support, report to directors of progress, and more. The Managing Editor will report into the Vice President of Content Strategy and work with the HYPEBEAST editorial department's directors, managers, seniors and editors, as well as HBX's side of management and staff for alignment and strategies.

Responsibilities:

Conceive, implement and measure editorial pieces across all relevant e-commerce channels.Develop tactics, plans, partnerships, tools that help achieve the business goals.Maintain relationships with external and internal teams to brief and manage original content for distribution.Launch, grow and manage channels where relevant ensuring milestones are set and met.Execute website publishing strategies while ensuring all posts are accurate, punctual, efficient, safe and on brand.Manage daily website communication such as consumer responses, sentiment analysis and enquiries.Work on strategic partnership opportunities with brands and platforms to deliver business goals as well as create new innovations.Report on campaigns and augment based on analysis to ensure the most effective approach.Maintain relationships with external and internal teams to brief and manage original content for distribution.Lead all communication with international content leads on priorities and best practices.Manage budgets and report on campaigns based on analysis to ensure the most effective approach.Manage, hire and train team members as necessary to fulfill business needs.Requirements:5+ years of website, publishing, editorial content creation and distribution required (brand or agency).Proficient in Wordpress and Google Analytics; Basic in Photoshop.Passion, energy, and enthusiasm for editorial content. Detailed knowledge and expertise around all digital platforms with significant contacts at all major platforms.Extremely passionate and knowledgeable about fashion, culture and the different categories that HYPEBEAST/HBX covers.Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail.Experience in managing teams across global regions and time zones.Proven experience in developing and executing successful editorial marketing strategies that are native to individual channels and demonstrate tangible ROI.Expert understanding of how brands should participate in social media in an authentic way.The candidate is at the cutting edge of the cultural zeitgeist; understanding internet, social and youth culture and how to credibly and sensitively work within it whilst maintaining brand integrity.Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.A passion for working in a fast-paced environment with high level of teamwork.Flexibility to work nights and weekends.Deep ability to collect, analyze and use website data to affect change.
