Your new company
Your new company is a leading investment firm, renowned for its close partnerships with major investors. They are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. Your new role
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including payment transactions, journal entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account reconciliations
- Conduct daily bank and client reconciliations, position and cash reconciliations, follow up on overdue or unsettled positions, check for settlement discrepancies, and rectify errors
- Assist in the preparation of daily and monthly FRR reports
- Handle client withdrawal and deposit instructions along with related banking transactions
- Support risk monitoring activities, such as conducting stress tests for margin financing
- Aid in month-end closing processes and the preparation of management reports
- Maintain accurate and organised filing of accounting records
- Provide support for daily trade operations and settlement activities as needed
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in finance
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
