Responsibilities
In your 1st year, you will be exploring various products and activities across the region with details below Product scope: Exotics Products on Equity, Rates, Credit, FX and Hybrid such as ELN, CLN, share accumulators, auto-callables and other exotics payoffs Work closely with front office and the different support functions (MO, BO, Risk, Finance, ITEC) in order to: Ensure that the modeling of products and transactions into our information system is done in an accurate and timely manner Make sure proper control framework is in place to guarantee the exhaustiveness and quality of the bookings in order to reduce operational risk Coordinate with FO and support functions to follow up and push for resolution of production issues Push for automation, simplification and convergence of the processes Analyze impacts of new products Handle Client requests and assist relevant teams in performing the operational leg of all client related task Help in producing relevant reporting on the products client had subscribed with SG Take in charge any escalation request (information request, claims, complaint etc.) from our clients Write down / update procedures linked to sensitive processes and controlsAfter gaining more knowledge from 1st year, you can also expect to explore more different area within the Exotics Cross Asset Middle Office and be able to come up with more comprehensive solutions & enhance existing processes with below examples:
Involve in process improvement / automation Contribute to regular error rate governance on Asia scope. Analyze error rate concentration and help identifying root-cause and remediation action plan React in a timely manner to incidents and develop action plan for the long termCandidates with outstanding performance will be considered for early conversion to permanent roles.

The Trainee role is a full time 24-month contract with Societe Generale where you will have access to a diverse range of training materials to help you succeed, covering various aspects of businesses, including but not limited to technical skills, leadership development, communication skills, client service and relationship management. To be eligible, please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of Trainee contract.
Profile required
Relevant Bachelor’s or Graduate’s degree holder is preferred Graduates with some working experience gained from other sectors are also welcomed Good knowledge of capital market exotics products with cross asset underlying (Equity, Commodity, FX, Rates) Fluent in English is essential, with other language skills would be a plus Ability to communicate effectively and interface with various internal partners (Traders, Engineers, Sales, other Middle Offices, Product Control teams, Back Offices, IT) and in different countries in Asia, Europe, America regions Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment Knowledge of Python or VBA programming is an advantage Support change by proactively contributing to the change process and adapting to new constraints Willingness to embody the Group's values by honoring its commitments, fostering a climate of trust and knowing how to work with colleagues from different environments and culturesBehavioral Skills
