Job Mission:

The Regional People Sustainability Reporting Senior Manager is responsible to lead the continuous delivery of the HR reporting related to the sustainability reporting program at CHANEL to deliver the House sustainability ambitions including:

Engage with the key senior stakeholders in the Region including ODHR and Divisions, among others, General Managers to ensure the successful implementation of the ESG reporting program.

Orchestrate the collaboration and alignment about all the topics related to HR Sustainability, in the region including topics like own workforce, contingent workforce, workers on the value chain, diversity, social protection, etc. with markets and various stakeholders including Legal, Internal Procurement, Finance, Information Security, TDS among others.

Steer the design and implementation of a progressive roadmap to implement a full target sustainability reporting on HR metrics including a target operating model in the Region.

Act as the main contact between the Region and the Global teams on everything related to HR sustainability reporting to ensure the regional requirements are considered.

Be the HR regional representative in the global ESG Governance, developing and maintaining strong relationships with sustainability and HR leadership teams to provide strategic support and ensure clear communication and cross-functional partnerships.

Be the owner the regional roadmap and timeline for the implementation of the HR Sustainability reporting initiative, engage with senior leaders and stakeholders across function and markets to assure their requirements are considered.

Lead with the Regional HR Consolidation Associate to gather information and insights for Sustainability reporting.

Analyze and interpret HR data relevant to Sustainability metrics, including diversity and inclusion, employee well-being, talent development, contingent workforce, training, health & safety, adequate wages, etc.

Understand and monitor the internal needs from sustainability performance and finance teams and the regulatory reporting obligations, including those arising from the CSRD (ESRS S1 & S2).

Contribute to the definition of the HR KPIs and information to be included in CHANEL sustainability report:

Propose recommendations and actions to ensure the delivery of the HR performance including setting priorities, targets, KPIs modifications or internal processes.

Accountable to review the completeness and accuracy of data. Ensure that data privacy and regulations are applied.

Monitor and manage performance of strategic HR KPIs to ensure delivery of targets, develop relevant implementation plans in line with the required and selected HR reporting standards (ESRS S1 & S2) and in close cooperation with key stakeholders.

Communicate and make regular updates/presentations to internal stakeholders on milestones and progress, Conduct awareness and education sessions internally regarding HR data.

Benchmark best reporting practices to optimize internal data collection processes and robustness.

Prepare and organize the annual ESG HR reporting:

Lead the development and maintenance of auditable HR data collection and control framework, in close cooperation with other departments such as Sustainability Performance team, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Human Rights and Global HR Consolidation.

Coordinate the consolidation of HR information received from operations / markets / services and contribute to the drafting of the HR sections of CHANEL sustainability reporting in relation with the key internal stakeholders.

Hand-in-hand with the sustainability reporting teams, provide recommendations and feedback sessions to improve the quality of HR data and the internal processes.

Person Specifications:

Business School, Engineering School, or University

Specialized in HR

10 to 15 years with professional experience in :

HR Data & Analytics or ESG reporting

HR projects: inclusion & diversity, pay, remuneration, wellbeing, modern slavery

Transverse program management with a leadership role

CSRD regulation knowledge would be a plus.

A previous experience in the luxury industry would be a plus.

Demonstrated program ownership and consistent delivery on commitments.

Strong analytical and critical skills with the ability to analyse data.

Strong program management skills; able to effectively manage multiple deliverables, stakeholders from different geographic areas.

Prioritize demands from users and collaboratively work towards resolution.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail

Strong communication skills including the confidence and ability to communicate with senior management and leaders.

Strong expertise of HR metrics, understanding of HR processes and Sustainability topics.

Experience identifying and resolving complex issues, will take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances - solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgment.

Highly influential style; able to balance firmness and tact when dealing with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Customer service orientation and strong relationship builder; build rapport with all internal and external parties.

Capability to interact with people from various cultural and professional backgrounds.

Multi-cultural sensitivity.

Ability to coach and consult.

Fluency in English.
