About ESF
The English Schools Foundation (ESF) is the largest English-medium international school organisation in Hong Kong. Our 22 schools and comprehensive programme of extra-curricular activities bring out the best in every student through a personalised approach to learning and by inspiring curious minds.
There are over 18,000 students from 75 different nationalities in ESF kindergartens, primary, secondary and all-through schools. About 70% of our students have parents who are permanent residents of Hong Kong.

Brief Job Overview:
Economics and Business Studies are thriving subjects within our schools. We have iGCSE groups in both Year 10 and 11 for each discipline as well as IBDP groups in both Year 12 and Year 13 working at either standard or higher level. We also run a successful Btec Business programme. The popularity of the subjects within the school are matched by the success of our students who consistently attain above expectations and who achieve highly year on year. Economics and Business Studies are the first choice for the majority in future career choices.
Working within the Individual & Societies Faculty you will be able to teach Economics and Business across the age and ability range (Year 10-13) including iGCSE and IB Standard and Higher Level. Your passion and subject knowledge is more important than having direct experience of teaching IB and applications are welcome from those with experience of equivalent post 16 programmes such as A level.
