To cope with our development, we are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Raw Materials to lead the Raw Materials Procurement Team to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of high-quality and sustainable materials for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will manage relationships with mills, suppliers, customer and negotiate contracts, monitor inventory levels, and optimize procurement processes in alignment with business objectives testing parameters.

Here is what you need to know about this role:

Understand customer needs and requirements in terms of fabric sourcing Develop and execute procurement strategies and processes for raw materials to meet business requirements (closest to final needlepoint and ensure continuity of supply  Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials  Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain favorable terms, conditions, and pricing  Work with internal stakeholders to establish and monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with suppliers for quality and on-time delivery  Lead supplier performance reviews, provide technical experience and take corrective actions when necessary  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives  Monitor and report on key raw materials market trends, including pricing, supply, and demand  Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and standards

Bachelor's degree in Fashion and Textiles Studies, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, or other related disciplines Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in raw materials procurement; off-shoring experience is highly preferred  Demonstrated success in developing and implementing procurement strategies and processes  Deep understanding of raw materials markets, trends and development  Strong negotiation and contract management skills  Proven track record of driving supplier performance to meet business objectives  Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment  Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills  Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other procurement software
