Job Description

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is a key executive role responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy of the organization. This role involves overseeing the sales, marketing, product development, and customer service departments to drive business growth and market share.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning:

  • -Develop and execute the company’s commercial strategy.
  • -Align commercial goals with overall business objectives.
  • -Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

- Sales and Marketing:

  • Oversea sales and marketing operations to ensure revenue targets are met.
  • Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Implement effective sales processes and marketing campaigns.

- Product Development:

  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure products meet market demands.
  • Drive innovation and product improvements based on customer feedback and market research.

- Customer Relationship Management:

  • Foster strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Develop customer retention strategies and improve customer satisfaction.

- Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the commercial team, including sales, marketing, and customer service departments.
  • Set performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews.

- Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for the commercial department.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

- Reporting and Analysis:

  • Provide regular reports to the CEO and board on commercial performance.
  • Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and strategy adjustments.

 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales management software.
