Job Posting Details
The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is seeking an outstanding candidate to join the research team.
The appointee is expected to lead the research and development of a RF-based measurement system for a smart contact lens system. He/She is also expected to model a complex wireless RF circuit, verify results with simulation, prototype a functional system, and assist in clinical testing. The appointee may sometimes be required to work outside normal office hours and be assigned with ad-hoc duties. This position is based in HKUST Clear Water Bay Campus. Travel to the Greater Bay Area is required.
Applicants should have a PhD degree in electrical/electronic engineering and several years of post-qualification work experience, preferably in non-education sector. The ideal candidate should be well-organized with good communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, as well as an excellent command of spoken and professional written English. He/She should be self-motivated, attentive to details and multi-task oriented; and be able to work independently in a dynamic work environment. (Duration: 1 year).
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided where applicable.
