This is an internship opportunity for undergraduate students who are in penultimate or final year of studies and are keen to pursue a career in T&M after graduation. Our internship program, 6 months full-time from Aug 2023 - Jan 2024, can provide you with unparalleled opportunities to work alongside experienced professionals to develop new qualities, put into practice what you have learnt at university and give you exposure to what working life is like at DBS T&M.

Responsibilities

Assist the Fixed Income Origination team in the day-to-day activities Draft market commentaries regularly Prepare pitchbooks/proposals and materials as per clients’ ad-hoc requests Support the team on execution of fixed income transactions Maintain timely update of databases for deal list and credentials/accolades Conduct financial spreading and analysis for clients Work with product owners to prepare presentation materials to senior management on key platform and market updates, including in-depth desktop research and data collection & analysis Learn and synthesise Fixed Income product knowledge into requirements that would be sent to the platform development teams Understand and transcribe key points in meetings with senior management Generate reports, both in excel as well as visualizations tools, to explain market trends and usage statistics Support the team in managing and developing DBS' market leading FIX Marketplace Issuance platform and FIX Core deal management platform Contribute to DBS Fixed Income's growing portfolio Digital Solutions through developing new ideas and concepts

Requirements 

Eligible to work in HK and available for the whole employment period 2nd year to penultimate year university students or university graduates majoring in disciplines including, but not limited to, business administration, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science or business analytics Strong command in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin) as well as ability to perform two-way translation is a must Team player with high sense of responsibility, strong drive, multi-tasking ability and attention to details Good market sense of equity and bond markets Basic accounting and finance knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office (emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel), Bloomberg and Chinese word processing Basic VBA skills, programming/data visualization skills, knowledge in digitalization/blockchain/Web 3.0 will be a plus
