We are seeking a highly motivated Onboarding Team Officer to join our dynamic organization. In your role as an Onboarding Team Officer, you will be the cornerstone of our client relationship process, engaging directly with clients to conduct thorough due diligence. This includes meticulous verification of identification and understanding the intricacies of client businesses and shareholders. Your responsibilities encompass a delicate balance of conducting in-depth evaluations while providing a seamless and positive client experience. You will need to be tactful in your communications, ensuring clients feel valued and respected, not subject to suspicion, all while diligently ensuring their alignment with our company's risk appetite. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a diplomatic approach to client interactions, ensuring both compliance and client satisfaction are maintained at the highest standards.

A core job function revolves around meticulous attention to detail coupled with exceptional client interaction skills. This role demands the ability to scrutinize complex information while maintaining positive, tactful client communications. Thoroughness in due diligence and finesse in client interaction, highlighting the need for both technical acumen and soft skill prowess.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Due Diligence: You will conduct in-depth evaluations of potential corporate clients, assessing their compatibility with our risk parameters. It’s about understanding their business inside and out to ensure they’re the right fit for us.

Stakeholder Protection: You are our frontline defense, meticulously evaluating new client profiles to protect our existing clients and other stakeholders. Your vigilance safeguards our company’s integrity and reputation.

Risk Assessment and Management: In this pivotal role, you’ll analyze and mitigate potential risks. Your keen insight determines which clients align with our risk appetite, playing a vital role in our company’s security and stability.

Regulatory Compliance: You ensure we stay on the right side of regulations and laws. Your adherence to these standards is crucial during the client onboarding process.

Control Framework Development: You'll contribute to the creation and enhancement of frameworks that support our sustainable growth. Your input is vital in shaping our future.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 4 to 5 years of experience in client due diligence, specifically within an onboarding team or a compliance function.
  • In-Depth Knowledge of AML/CTF and Sanctions Regulations
  • Detail Oriented
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • With AML/CTF Certification is an advantage
