Job Description

  • Provision of technical support to RSS at professional ranks or above in the delivery of their duties of the representative or delegate of the Project Manager, Supervisor, Engineer, Architect, Surveyor, and/or Supervising Officer as appropriate under works contracts as assigned by the Consultants*/Consultant*
  • Collaboration with other RSS ranks for delivery of works contracts and the project in safe, efficient and cost effective manner with good quality
  • Management of RSS subordinates
  • Other duties related to this consultancy, works contracts or the project as may be assigned by the head of the RSS team, their supervisors, RSS at professional ranks or above and the Consultants*/Consultant* from time to time

Qualifications

  • Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (DSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent
  • 5 years’ relevant experience, three of which should be gained post-qualification. The qualification and experience shall comply with the requirement of TCP grade T3 as shown on Table 2 of Technical Memorandum for Supervision Plans
  • Attended required Occupation Safety and Health Management Course; Basic Accident Prevention Course (to be clarified); Construction Industry Safety Card Course (Green Card); and Certified Worker Training Course for Confined Spaces
