Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow or Research Assistant in the Department of Electronic & Computer Engineering to commence as soon as possible.

Multiple positions at the level of Post-doctoral Fellow or Research Assistant are open in areas of bio-sensing, embedded system and integrated circuit design. Post-doctoral Fellows are expected to conduct independent frontier research in one of the following areas: microfluidic devices, immuno-assay experiments, integrated micro-systems, or integrated circuit design. Research Assistants will participate in research in integrated micro-systems, or integrated circuit design. Successful candidates will work in state-of-the-art facilities with a multi-disciplinary international team at HKUST.

For Post-doctoral Fellow: Applicants should have a PhD degree with proven experience in relevant areas with publication record and strong research motivation. For Research Assistant: Applicants should have a bachelor’s or a master’s degrees from Hong Kong local universities with experience with design tools in relevant areas and strong interests in hands-on implementation. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
