Responsibilities

The appointee is expected to

•Assist the Programme Director/Coordinator in preparing the programme proposal and conduct relevant surveys
•Perform a wide range of administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the programme, including programme management and operation as well as admission and promotion
•Carry out various programme administrative tasks such as promotion, timetabling, scheduling programme courses and seminars and other teaching and learning activities, and other tasks pertaining to course operations
•Administer the admission, registration, document verification and visa application processes
•Coordinate administrative processes for course arrangement, examinations, student activities, course evaluations, and events
•Handle purchases, reimbursement, payments and other financial and budgeting matters
•Liaise with internal and external parties
•Handle quality assurance related matters such as secretary duties related to various committees
•Prepare annual programme report and other required reports as well as data reporting to various units of the university
•Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

•A recognized Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in the tertiary education sector; For Senior Programme Officer, the candidate should have at least four years of relevant working experience
•Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
•High level of competence in computer literacy
•Good team spirit with a strong sense of responsibility and willing to go the extra mile to complete tasks before deadlines
•Willingness to assume various responsibilities with a passionate attitude
•Proactive mindset and strong analytical ability to carry out duties independently and efficiently with minimum supervision
