The Role

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute OEM sales strategies and account plans for the Hong Kong market, focusing greatly on pipeline generation, conversion, and closure

- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM clients and partners, regularly engaging with decision-makers at client facilities

- Manage assigned territory/accounts, including account planning, sales forecasting, and engaging cross-functional resources

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the OEM sector

- Learn, know, and bring the "best of our company" to clients (offerings, use cases, etc.)

- Conceptualize and execute strong "win strategies" to convert new clients/deals and grow the OEM client portfolio

- Own and complete sales processes, collaborating with teams across the company as appropriate

- Lead and own assigned deal closure as specialty seller

- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform business strategies and enable greater in-market competitor awareness and analysis

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of OEM solutions

- Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets


Who You Are

Required Qualifications

1. OEM Expertise

- Proven track record as a veteran in OEM model and operations in the Hong Kong market

- Demonstrated ability to build and manage in-quarter pipeline

- Deep understanding of OEM business processes and challenges

2. Business Development Skills

- Rich network of client connections in the Hong Kong IT industry

- Strong record of successful business development and client engagements

- Ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities

- Extensive client engagement experiences, with technology solutions and expertise of market trends that impact Hong Kong enterprise customers

3. Local IT Community Knowledge

- Extensive familiarity with the local IT supplier community in Hong Kong

- Strong connections and relationships within the IT ecosystem

- Understanding of local market dynamics and trends

Additional Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in OEM sales or related roles in IT sales/pre-sales/solutioning

- Familiarity with cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and general IT enterprise architectural service frameworks

- Ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior/CIO/CXO leadership and next two levels down

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Growth mindset with passion to continually learn and achieve

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

- Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus
