Major Duties

: (a) To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; (b) To carry out student and academic related administrative duties; (c) To develop course curriculum and teaching materials; and (d) To participate in departmental projects and functions, including consultancy services, voluntary services, research studies, seminars, short courses and exhibitions, where necessary.
Requirements : (a) A recognised degree in Nursing or other Professional Qualification in Health and Social Sciences; (b) At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experiences; preferably in the field(s): (i) Health care services; (ii) Elderly services; (iii) Physiotherapy; (iv) Occupational therapy; (v) Social work; (vi) Aromatherapy; (viii) Mindfulness. (c) For the candidates with Nursing qualification, they should be the Registered Nurse with the Hong Kong Nursing Council and holding valid practicing certificate. (d) Good communication skills in both English and Chinese; and (e) Good records of connection with the industry or professional bodies would be an advantage. Note s : (1) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. (2) The post of Part-time (Daytime / Evening) Fieldwork Supervisor is in the rank of Lecturer. (3) Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.
