Direct the Actuarial IFRS Business Planning team and personally contribute to:

Produce timely actuarial business planning and forecasting for IFRS measures, including both base results and sensitivities, to meet requirements of PHKL and Prudential Group.
Provide actionable insight on the planning and forecast performance of the company to management to support the achievement of business KPI, including identification or opportunities and risks.

Provide leadership in Actuarial on IFRS business planning and contributing to the management of the Financial Reporting and Management section.

Job Descriptions:

Stakeholder management:

Manage senior stakeholders across Group and Local offices on the IFRS business plan and forecasting results on a timely basis, proactively communicate any potential changes that may impact the IFRS financial results.

Business plan production, process and control :

Overall review and endorse the IFRS business plan, forecasting and sensitivity results with the support from the team. Drive the team to enhance business plan process and control so as to maximize both the quality and quantity of the output and produced in an efficient manner.

KPI and Change management:

Execute both Group and Local-driven initiatives to manage and enhance IFRS operating profits (one of the KPIs) especially the year-on-year growth and sustainability, drive the decision-making process for both methodology and assumption changes with the full consideration on financial and operational impacts.

Team management : Set the steer and goal for the team and drive them to deliver and succeed

Job Requirements:

Expect at least 10 years of working experience with 5 at managerial level. Fellow Actuary Financial reporting and management experience Business and financial acumen for life insurance Adaptable to changing priorities and to multiple business functions Bias for action and results driven Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills Proven people and management skills Ability to work with diverse personalities, cultures and business practices in an international organization Operates with high standards and integrity Ability to multi-task, be flexible, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and spoken English
