Duties

Reporting to the Senior Manager of the Office, the appointee is expected to:

Support the recruitment of non-local students through school visits and social media promotions; Develop detailed communication plans and implement communications-related initiatives; Engage non-local students actively and provide non-academic advising and support services; Plan and organise campus internationalisation and student integration activities; Administer funding schemes that support students in gaining global experience; Coordinate and arrange delegation visits; Coordinate university responses to mitigate student critical incidents; and Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ post-qualification experience. Ability to work independently, collaboratively and creatively; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including English and Chinese Language skills, and presentation skills; ability to engage and understand the needs of non-local students; good logistics skills with attention to detail. The following skills are preferred:

Strong understanding of Microsoft applications; Good knowledge of Adobe products, particularly in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro; Good understanding of online customisable organisational/development software, such as Unibuddy, Zoom, etc.; and Good understanding of videography/photography equipment and production process.

Occasional travel is required.

Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Assistant Manager.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
