M+ is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Our aim is to create a new kind of museum that reflects our unique time and place, a museum that builds on Hong Kong’s historic balance of the local and international to define a distinctive and innovative voice for Asia’s twenty-first century.You will be responsible for:
  • supporting in annual corporate and business planning process with an active role in specific departmental operations
  • managing planning, allocation and reporting for ticket sales and issuance, including sponsorship and complimentary tickets arrangement
  • providing analytical outputs including budgeting preparation, monthly reporting, business case analysis and process improvement identification;
  • collecting and analysing business data from departments using appropriate analytical and statistical methodologies
  • conducting analysis, scenario sensitivity and market research on best practice of different operating models and monitoring the implementation process;
  • managing annual artistic procurement planning process and providing regular update on the artistic procurement status for district reporting
  • developing KPI dashboard with Power BI tool and providing regular reporting with insight on KPI results;
  • liaising closely with other counterparts in aligning the operational and financial figures; and
  • supporting other business operations duties as assigned by supervisor as required.
You should:
  • possess university degree in business administration, finance, statistics or other relevant disciplines;
  • have over 6 years of work experience (less experience for Analyst position) in business plan development, business and financial analysis in sizable organisation, commercial company or consulting firm;
  • be proactive, result-oriented and self-motivated;
  • possess analytical skills with acumen in numbers and information;
  • be able to work in a team with good communication and presentation skills;
  • be computer literacy in using MS Office, Power BI and advanced knowledge in using Excel; and
  • have good written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage.
