NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITIONResponsible for monthly closing of financial accounts, cash flow management, financial analysis, local compliance and corporate governance, statutory and management reporting.Ensure that the monthly management reporting is carried out efficiently, within the stipulated timeframe and in accordance to set standards.Plan and co-ordinate the annual budgeting exercise and quarterly rolling forecast.Manage FP&A for the regions.Manage the taxation by ensuring that all taxes are paid accurately and on a timely basis.Create, evaluate and maintain an effective internal control system. Evaluate key business processes and identify improvement areas.Collaborate across functions to support decision making.Provide strong support to the Senior Finance Director, APAC and Board in all ad hoc projects, including the setup of back-of-house, on-going business development, and information systems implementation.Qualification/EducationUniversity degree in Accounting/Finance discipline with CPA professional qualifications.Experience RequiredAt least 10 years solid experience in Accounting and Finance, with about 5 years in the retail industry with a multinational company.FP&A experience in the retail industry.Able to present business results.Technically proficient in US, China and HK GAAP.Possess strong analytical mind, problem solving skill and able to make sound judgements under uncertain situations.Well versed in Microsoft Office and highly proficient in MS Excel spreadsheet.Ability to work well under pressure and set the right priorities.Good communication skills, able to collaborate with people at all levels and to exert positive influence on stakeholders.Characteristics requiredDemonstrable abilities in driving initiatives, taking timely actions and following through to deliver expected results.Courageous, passionate and open-minded, can articulate own point of view.High energy and drive.Have a sense of urgency and ability to deal swiftly with changing needs.Team player with the ability to work on own initiative when required.Highly organised with the ability to focus on the right priorities.Resourceful and willing to take up challenges and responsibilities.Innovative and proactive, with a "can do" attitude.Well presented with the ability to communicate confidently.Seniority level
