Reporting to the Principal Environmental Consultant, you will be using your ecological specialist skills to review baseline conditions, prepare ecological impact assessments, conduct terrestrial and intertidal ecology studies, and recommend nature-based solutions to promote biodiversity enhancement.Planning and undertaking ecological field surveys; and presenting the results systematicallyPreparing ecological impact assessment reportsFormulating nature-based solutions to promote biodiversity enhancementLiaising with clients and relevant authorities on project mattersTaking responsibility for project delivery including time, cost, coordination, and stakeholder managementProviding technical support in client, stakeholder, and public consultations; acting as a technical specialist providing advice and solutions to meet client’s requirementsWhat You'll NeedDegree holder in environmental science with a major in aquatic ecology (coastal/marine/river) or equivalent. Holding a Master’s degree or above with research experience is an advantage5-7 years of practical experience in environmental consultancy or research projects in the ecology/fisheries field.Possession of a recognized professional qualification is an advantageA strong interest and experience in ecology and biodiversity conservation.
