Add expected salary to your profile for insightsReporting to Chief Commercial Officer, this role will lead a sales team to oversee and drive the sales activities of AsiaSat's data and media services to our premium customers in Asia Pacific and/or assigned regions. This role requires strong and solid skills in sales, negotiation and account management and in-depth knowledge of sales process/cycle in order to achieve the Company targets and revenue growth.RESPONSIBILITIESLead the development and implementation of strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth, profitability and market presence in Asia Pacific and/or assigned regionsActively engage in analyzing the market and industry trends, customer segmentation and competitor activities to determine target customers/ new business opportunities and allow the Company to have distinct advantages over competitionsFully accountable for revenue of data and media services sales so as to ensure the sustainability of its business streamOversee the budget and ensure the sales objectives are achieved with the allocated financial resourcesFacilitate the team to build and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing customer needs and concerns so as to enhance customer experience and drive retentionWork closely with all other departments/ subsidiaries to leverage the total capabilities of the Company in creating a winning go-to-market strategyKeep management updated on pitching progress and sales funnel of the team in timely mannerPerform ad-hoc projects as per management team's requestREQUIREMENTSBachelor degree required; emphasis on business or engineering preferredIn-depth knowledge in the telecom and satellite industry with minimum 15 years' experience working in a sales role and customer managementDemonstrated experience with complex bid/proposal managementAbility to provide sector-focused advice on the sale process from strategic positioning to close, help execute acquisitions, alliances and mergers, and analyze the ROI of an opportunityA strong team player, ability to motivate and inspire a team to meet and exceed customer expectationsAbility to operate within a high pressure environment under tight deadlinesFluency in English, Cantonese and MandarinWe offer attractive remuneration package to the right candidate.
