We do this by designing smart, green infrastructure, transport and buildings, creating a sustainable future for communities everywhere.Job DescriptionDemonstrate full understanding of lighting design techniques and lighting market to base or influence design decisionsCollaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the lighting design aligns with the overall project visionLead the lighting design process for major projects, from concept development to final installationDevelop comprehensive lighting plans, specifications, and design documentationOversee the work of lighting designers and assistantsProvide mentorship to other team membersEnsure projects meet all relevant building codes, energy efficiency standards, and sustainability requirementsManage the lighting design budget and timeline for assigned projectsProvide expert lighting design advice and make recommendations to clientsAssist the Lighting Design Manager for marketing presentations to create, build and maintain business opportunitiesQualificationsHigher Diploma holder or above in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or Related field5+ years of experience as a professional lighting designer, with a strong portfolio of completed projectsAble to complete all stages of the project independently.Ability to communicate design concepts effectively, responsibly in a highly organized mannerA supportive team player.Competent in AutoCAD and PhotoShopExpert knowledge of lighting principles, technologies, and industry best practicesProficiency in lighting design software (e.g. DIALux, Lighting Reality, AGi32)Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skillsUnderstanding of electrical systems, lighting controls, and energy efficiency measuresAbility to interpret and apply building codes and regulationsExcellent collaboration and client management abilitiesAmbitious and self-motivated with a desire for personal and professional growth.Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and English.Additional InformationWe offer ample opportunities for career development and attractive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
