We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education and Languages: Associate Professor / Assistant Professor (Educational Technology) (E&L) - ( 25000 E5 )Job School/Unit School/Unit: School of Education and Languages Closing Date Closing Date: 17/Mar/2025, 3:59:00 PMMajor Duties and Responsibilities The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following: Planning, developing, coordinating and delivering courses (including face-to-face and distance learning modes) in related disciplines at the undergraduate, taught and research postgraduate levels; Developing and administering programmes of the School; Providing leadership and participating in research and scholarly activities; Participating in School/University activities and administration. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: An earned doctorate in Education in Educational Technology, with substantial relevant teaching/professional experience, including postgraduate student supervision (experience in programme and course administration is a definite advantage); Good knowledge of AI in Education, information literacy, multimedia design, STEAM, digital assessment and curriculum development; Good accomplishment in obtaining external competitive research grants (for associate professor) or demonstrated potential in obtaining external competitive research grants (for assistant professor); A record of research and peer-reviewed publications, involvement in professional and community services & activities; A record of achievements in knowledge transfer; A good command of English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua).
