We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a tenure-track clinical professor/clinical associate professor/clinical assistant professor in anaesthesiology. The appointee will focus on education, research, and clinical work, contributing to the development of medical students and postgraduates.
The ideal candidate should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong, with the attainment of the status as Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine or equivalent. A higher academic qualification (e.g., MD, MS, PhD) is advantageous. Applicants for the post of Clinical Professor should have a distinguished record of high-quality impactful research, demonstrated clinical excellence in anaesthesia and/or pain medicine, and international recognition for scholarship and professional expertise.
Applicants for the post of Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Assistant Professor should display strong clinical acumen and skills in anaesthesia and/or pain medicine, with demonstrated experience in teaching. Proven capacity to initiate and contribute to basic, clinical, and/or translational research is essential.
The appointees will be assigned to discharge duties at hospital(s) and clinic(s) affiliated with HKU Health System. They will receive a highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, annual leave, medical benefits, a contract-end gratuity, University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, and a monthly cash allowance.
