As a Director within the Life team of ICT Hong Kong, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development with key Life insurance clients, supporting the development and rollout of our proposition marketing campaigns, and managing large, high-profile, complex, leading-edge projects covering advisory work and technology implementations, ensuring excellence in project execution primarily in Hong Kong though also across the Asia Pacific region.The opportunity is there for someone to apply their strong business development, communication, influencing, and technical skills in a varied role that requires a strong commercial/pragmatic approach. Our reputation, expertise, and suite of leading-edge technology solutions provides the opportunity to help make a meaningful and positive difference in the development and digital transformation of the Asian insurance markets.The RoleICT has ambitious growth plans for our APAC propositions and seeks a Director to drive the accomplishment of these plans in Hong Kong. In this role, you will actively seek, develop, and close new business opportunities to achieve our sales goals in the Hong Kong Life insurance market.Your main areas of focus will be:Business Development & Pipeline ManagementClient Relationship Management of certain Client accountsPreparation of key marketing and thought leadership materials, credentials to support business development activities and promotion of our consulting and technology solutionsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including clients, industry experts, ecosystem partners)Perform ongoing industry and competitor analysis and identify key trends that affect our client's businessesProject Oversight and Delivery

The RequirementsAt least 15+ years of life insurance experience in a consulting firm, financial services organization, or life insurance firm.Qualified actuary with more than 5 years of PQE.Proven success in senior client management and/or sales/business development rolesProven track record of successful pipeline development, delivery of effective sales strategies, and reputation as a client-centric sales professionalHighly credible and experienced at discussing complex issues with senior management and providing innovative potential solutionsStrong in actuarial technical concepts, covering for example Economic Capital / Risk Based Capital / Capital Modelling, Financial Modelling, IFRS17, Business Process Automation, Data Analytics / Dynamic Pricing, Embedded Value (Traditional and/or MCEV), Strategy / Market Entry / Exit, Merger & Acquisitions.Strong Hong Kong insurance industry knowledge, regulatory knowledge, and senior stakeholder networkA strong interest in leveraging technology to support clients on their digital transformation journeysProven experience successfully managing multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget.Strong client relationship, interpersonal, and team skills.Well-developed verbal communication skills.Self-starter attitude and ability to work within ambiguity.Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues.Strong analytical and creative skills.Enjoy training/mentoring junior staff.The ability to see the "big picture," leveraging the resources of related practices to address the clients' business challenges.Fluency in English, and preferably a second languageAvailability to travel on an as-needed basis.What can we offer you?In return, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including: a fantastic pension scheme, life insurance, medical insurance and flexible benefits including dental cover, additional life assurance, and many other options and Corporate deals.
