QBE MI Asia is an international provider of credit enhancement products that promote homeownership and facilitate mortgage transactions in the capital markets. We provide mortgage insurance to Hong Kong lenders under QBE Mortgage Insurance Program. For further details please visit our website at www.qbe.com/mi.The purpose of this role is to support underwriting activities, assist in managing a profitable business portfolio within specified insurance classes, under company guidelines and delegated authorities. This includes underwriting new business and renewals of high complexity and volume, while maintaining relationships with lenders.Your new role:Performs required underwriting procedures for mortgage loansAssesses and responds to exceptions of established credit criteria guidelinesObtains and processes information related to the loan origination processMaintains and updates credit and underwriting policiesConducts periodic loan audits to ensure compliance with program guidelinesMonitors regional economic developments that could affect business and credit decisionsCompiles and accurately reports financial data as necessaryProvides customer service support to Managing DirectorAbout you:Degree holder with loan underwriting experienceKnowledge and experience of the Mortgage Insurance Program (MIP) preferredStrong analytical skills and clear communicationExcellent command of both written and spoken EnglishAbout QBEWhat if you could have a positive impact – at work and in the world?
