PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

to join our team.THE JOB :

Position Summary:

The Product Development & Merchandising Manager will oversee the entire product development process from initial concept to final product delivery. You will be responsible for planning and executing a profitable and customer-focused merchandising strategy.Product Development:

Oversee all phases of the product development cycle, from initial concept and design through technical design, sourcing, costing, and production.Trend Analysis:

Analyze sales figures, market trends, and customer behavior to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges.Vendor Collaboration:

Collaborate with vendors, buyers, and store managers to ensure product availability to customers.Merchandising Strategy:

Develop and implement merchandising plans to assist in the marketing and promotion of products.Customer Feedback:

Gather information on customers' reactions to products and adjust strategies accordingly.Team Coordination:

Oversee and coordinate product development & merchandising teams to ensure smooth operations.Education:

Degree in Fashion Design, Business, Jewellery Design, or a related discipline.Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development and merchandising of fine jewellery.Market Knowledge:

Deep understanding of the jewellery market, including trends, materials, and techniques.Communication Skills:

Strong communication and presentation skills.Language Proficiency:

Good command of English & Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.Terms & Benefits:
