We are also a licensed remittance payments company in Hong Kong and our Payments platform allows clients to automate corporate payments at scale in both fiat or stablecoin.Reap is supported by an empowering group of global investors and recently raised US$40 million in Series A funding, as covered by Forbes.About the teamYou will be part of a 4 person Legal team and directly reporting to the General Counsel to assist in executing and operationalizing the global licensing strategy of the Reap Group.What you'll doYou will provide operational support for key legal projects primarily related to licensing, corporate structure and overseas expansion. As the junior member of the Legal team at a fast-paced start-up you will be exposed to a wide array of other ad-hoc legal tasks as you grow with us. Specifically, you will:Assist in applying for and renewing various licenses in multiple jurisdictionsWith the assistance of external company secretaries, handle full spectrum of company secretarial matters for the Group companies in multiple jurisdictions including at least HK, SG, AU, MX, BR, US and moreLead vendor and counterparty due diligence and onboardingBe the subject matter expert of corporate structure and local regulation compliance of our Group entitiesConduct legal research on licensing and legal environments of new jurisdictionsWho you areIf you are a company secretary or paralegal looking for more exposure and an exciting opportunity to join as an important operational member of successful high growth multi-national fintech - this job is for you.3+ years experience as a company secretary or paralegal for a multinational firm or companyDegree in LawIncredible attention to detail and organization skillsExcel in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple projects across time zonesAbility to work independently and confidently lead the junior work of key projects like licensing, company incorporation and maintenance, counterparty due diligence and more.You understand that not all the rules are black and white, there will sometimes be grey areas and edge cases that require a deep knowledge of the relevant regulations and the ability to assess the situation with creativity and thoughtfulness.Experience working in a fintech or Web3 environment would be a plusShow me the benefitsYour own Reap Card for expense managementFully flexible remote work optionsMore information:https://reap.global/about-usSeniority level
