Generative AI Engineer

Hong Kong Quantum AI Lab ( HKQAI ) is a member of InnoHK Clusters, a major initiative of the HKSAR Government to develop HK into a global innovation powerhouse. We aspire to accelerate the discovery and application of next generation materials including OLED and li-ion batteries.Key Responsibilities:Design & Implement AI Models : Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of AI-driven solutions using deep learning models and large language models (LLMs).Implement AI solutions : Utilize advanced programming skills in Python and PyTorch, along with prompt engineering packages like LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, and Llamaindex, to enhance model performance and integration. Drive innovation in AI tech patterns, with an emphasis on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and multi-agent approaches, to deliver state-of-the-art solutions.Programming Skills : Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, LangChain/Llamaindex.AI Model Training : Experience in training and fine-tuning deep learning models or LLMs, with a willingness to learn and adapt.LLM Experience : Familiarity with large language models and generative AI applications, such as GraphRAG, In-context Learning, online RL HF.Computer Vision : Familiar with state-of-the-art vision models, preferably generative models (e.g. GAN, Diffusion models) in 2D/3D.Exceptional problem-solving skills : Ability to tackle complex business challenges using AI/ML techniques.Candidate Profile:Academic Background : A Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.Professional Experience : At least 1 year of experience in AI/ML or software engineering roles, preferably with hands-on projects in deep learning or related areas.Eager Learner : Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and approaches in a rapidly evolving field.Seniority Level
