ChubbJob DescriptionWe have an exceptional opportunity for a positive and enthusiastic person who would like to be an Underwriter in our highly skilled underwriting team.ResponsibilitiesReview, analyze, accept or reject risks of the Property businessDevelop and maintain relationships with producers to encourage the submission of targeted business, obtain necessary underwriting information and promote satisfactory serviceDemonstrate analytical skills and ability to evaluate and judge underwriting Property risks within written authorityEncourage the submission of targeted business; obtain necessary underwriting information and promote satisfactory serviceExercise interpersonal skills to be capable of dealing with all levels of producers, customers and staff within ChubbRequirementsBachelor's degree holder in any disciplineAt least 2 years of underwriting experience in Property is preferredProactive, independent, self-motivated with strong interpersonal skillsSuperior problem resolution and decision-making skillsAdaptable to change and embraces changeAbility to work well in a dynamic team environment and promote high morale within the teamCustomer centric with a passion for executionExcellent communication skills in both written and verbal; ability to communicate to a variety of levels within the company and externally as requiredStrong command of both spoken and written English and ChineseCandidate with more experience will be considered as UnderwriterFresh Graduates are also welcomeSeniority level
