As an ideal candidate, you have a customer-first mindset with a strong communication skill set. Your technical background will provide credibility to our customers regarding the quality of MineSec services and solutions. You're highly skilled with knowledge of payment technologies and good at concisely explaining them. You are confident and always ready to solve problems.Attention to details, fast responses to queries, and strong organisation skills to close tasks on time are crucial traits required for this position.Additionally, it is important you have a business mindset. As a start-up, our customers value MineSec because we not only bring our expertise but also our experience in the payment ecosystem and we guide them to innovate and deploy their solutions in the most efficient way to bring the best value for them.Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain both backend and frontend components of our SoftPOS and payment solutionsCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create and implement new featuresWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and industry standardsImplement and manage AWS services to ensure high availability and scalability of our applicationsPerform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peersTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely mannerEnsure compliance with industry standards and security protocolsContribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and toolsRequirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field5+ years' experience, more experienced candidates will be considered as Software ManagerStrong knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) for frontend developmentProficient in backend development using languages such as Node.js, Spring Boot, Python, or JavaExperience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, K8s) and infrastructure managementFamiliarity with SoftPOS, payment technology or mobile payment solutions is an advantageStrong understanding of software development methodologies and best practicesPreferred Skills

Experience with CI/CD tools and processesKnowledge of payment industry standards, such as PCI-DSS and ISO8583 is an advantageFamiliarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Seniority level
