Associate Social Strategist

Ogilvy Social, Hong KongOgilvy Social is a global, cross-discipline team of social experts from across all of Ogilvy's businesses. We design integrated social solutions that combine deep disciplines like CRM, public relations and shopper marketing and rooted in what drives behavior.Associate Digital Strategist responsibilities include:Contribute to cross-discipline social media team, spanning public relations, direct marketing, advertising and shopper marketingOnline research and social media monitoring using a variety of social media listening toolsSocial media strategy developmentCampaign execution in the areas of content, community management, influencer identification, influencer outreach and offline activationMeasure campaign effectiveness using a variety of social media analytics toolsDay-to-day client relationship managementProject managementIn order to be successful in this role you must:Have a Bachelors degree or equivalent with a strong academic recordHave 2+ years work experience in an advertising or PR agency, or related fieldBe fluent in Cantonese and English language, reading and writing (test will be given)Have excellent communication skills – verbal and writtenThink critically and creatively, meaning the ability to think clearly and rationally, solve problems and develop new and useful possibilitiesPlan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashionWork calmly and maintain good judgment in a fast-paced work environmentCollaborate with colleagues in different countries and appreciate cultural differencesUnderstand current and emerging media platforms and their usage from a consumer and business perspectiveUnderstand how to drive conversations and online word of mouthBe passionate about social media and word of mouth marketingAdditional skills preferred, but not required:Fluent in Mandarin reading and writingVideo production and editingManagement experienceBusiness development experienceHow We'll Support You
