Business Unit: Head OfficeLocation: Hong KongThe Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (owner and operator of The Peninsula Hotels, The Repulse Bay and many high-profile assets globally) is seeking to hire an Assistant Director, Hospitality Technologies to join the Information Technology Department, based in our Corporate office located in Central, Hong Kong. This role will collaborate closely with different stakeholders to enhance our guest journey and provide support for our OnePMS initiative and other projects related to Hospitality Technologies.Work for a highly prestigious and renowned hospitality groupBe part of a professional teamExceptional market leading benefits such as comprehensive family medical insurance (including dependents) and pensionKey AccountabilitiesSupport the Director, Technology Partner in leading a cross-departmental process to enhance the guest journey, foster the idea generation and innovation, and ensure that the company maintains a competitive advantage in delivering a world-class guest experiencePartner with business stakeholders to establish IT strategy related to Hospitality Technologies that aligns with business needs, execute the delivery plan accordingly and implement new systems as agreed uponWork closely with internal stakeholders to understand operational pain points, guest expectations, industry trends and influence third-party strategic partners. Identify areas where technology can effectively support business and departmental goalsManage different hotel and departmental applications including but not limited to property management system, guest messaging, web booking engine, revenue management systems installed at corporate and the operational levelCollaborate closely with IT teams involving technology solutions, security, PMO and services to ensure alignment with business requirementsWork closely with vendors on systems design & enhancementsEnsure timely updates to external and internal stakeholders through ongoing communicationPrepare functional requirement documents, coordinate request for proposal, and support audit and system reviews when requiredGeneral RequirementsUniversity degree holder in Information Technology or equivalent disciplines8+ years' of IT relevant working experience, preferably gained from hospitality industryGood knowledge of IT technology platforms, Microsoft Office suite, project management tools and cloud/On-Prem system architectureFamiliar with hospitality software solutions and integrationExperience with technical document writingStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, analytical with good commercial acumenSelf-initiative, innovative with strong forward-thinking mindset; able to work independently and as part of a teamGood command of written and spoken Chinese and EnglishWe are delighted to receive your CV for further consideration.
