The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong's external trade, seeks dynamic, high-caliber and experienced professionals to join our Exhibitions and Digital Business Department. To strengthen Hong Kong's role as Asia's international business platform, we organise more than 30 world-class international trade fairs in Hong Kong each year. These fairs, which cover various industries and sectors, create opportunities for companies to promote their products or services to buyers from all over the world.Responsibilities:To provide administrative support to the Section Head of the team. Duties include scheduling meetings and activities both internally and externally, preparing and handling business correspondence and documents, and handling general enquiries.To coordinate with administrative assistants of other teams on cross-team projects and initiatives.To support Project Managers in organising opening ceremonies, networking receptions & parties, business luncheons, fair organising committee meetings, preparing relevant bosses' information kits, etc.To provide support in trade fair operations and logistic arrangements as well as act as a liaison point with service vendors.To provide support on database compilation and data entry into systems.To process procurement for the team, monitor storage and take stock of the team's materials and capital goods.To ensure smooth and timely operation of the events and related activities.To perform ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.Requirements:Degree holder with a minimum of 4 years' solid relevant experience, preferably in any of the following areas: secretarial and administration, project management or public/corporate relations.Good written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua.Proficient in MS Office including Excel in particular and Chinese word processing.A team player with good interpersonal skills, outgoing and customer-oriented.Good numeric abilities, meticulous, independent, well-organised and self-motivated.Willing to work overtime and on weekends or public holidays as necessary.Candidates with less relevant experience may be considered for the position of Project Executive.Remuneration and Benefits:Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
