This role is pivotal in our mission to innovate and develop cutting-edge medical devices that will transform the healthcare industry. Key Responsibilities: Experimental Data Collection: Collaborate closely with clinicians to collect and analyze experimental data, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the information gathered. Mechanical and Design Quantification: Assess feedback on mechanical and design aspects of medical devices, translating findings into actionable items to enhance device performance and usability.3 D Mapping and Navigation: Contribute to the design and development of 3 D mapping and navigation systems for imaging devices, leveraging your expertise in programming to create sophisticated and reliable solutions. AI Implementation: Apply artificial intelligence techniques to improve device capabilities, including image processing, data analysis, and predictive modeling. Prototyping and Testing: Participate in the prototyping, testing, and iterative improvement of medical devices, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life. Documentation for Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all designs and developments are properly documented in compliance with relevant medical device regulations and standards. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree or Ph D in Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, with experience in AI and machine learning frameworks. Imaging Expertise: Experience in imaging technologies and applications, particularly in the medical or biomedical field, intended in the broad sense, including computer vision and microscopy. Optics Knowledge: Understanding of optical systems and their application in medical devices is highly desirable. Biomedical Knowledge: Knowledge in biomedical engineering or experience working with biomedical imaging devices is a plus. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians, engineers, and other stakeholders. Team Player: Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment, with a proactive and flexible approach to work.
