POSITION SUMMARY
The Visual Merchandiser/ Senior Visual Merchandiser is responsible for executing all visual merchandising directives and initiatives within the boutiques (internal & external) and POS, ensuring brand consistency and high standards of visual presentation in Hong Kong.
- 6 internal boutiques
- 2 external boutiques
- 9 POS boutiques.
HIERARCHICAL REPORT
You will report to the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager, Hong Kong and Macau region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
VISUAL MERCHANDISING EXECUTION
- Collaborate with the boutique management team, commercial teams, and VM team to implement product rotations in accordance with the VM calendar.
- Align boutique changes with business objectives, providing comprehensive feedback to both the Boutique Managers and local Commercial team post-implementation.
- Maintain boutiques & POS visual standards through regular floor presence and training of boutique teams.
- Prepare reports for local management and the VM team, such as monthly reports of the display among three networks, competitors' VM highlights, pop-ups and pop-ins, and any seasonal animation from competitors with photos.
EVENT AND PROMOTION SUPPORT
- Assist in setting up in-boutique events and promotional activities, ensuring visual consistency and brand alignment.
- Coordinate with the local office and external partners for flawless execution of window installations and advertising campaigns.
MAINTENANCE AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
- Oversee and manage the visual maintenance of the boutique environment, ensuring the highest luxury standards are met.
- Handle the ordering of PLVs and maintain the organization and cleanliness of in-boutique storage areas.
- Assist on administrative and budget topics
PROFILE & REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a visual merchandiser/ sales associate in luxury brands.
- Required competencies:
- Professional demeanour with a strong aesthetic sense related to style, art, and fashion.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and discipline (ability to prioritize and plan work activities, ability to multi-task).
- Team player with a sense of ownership and accountability.
- Passionate about the brand with a proactive and strategic approach.
- Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
- Languages:
- Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin & English
