Support audit plan delivery for complete and more complex audits (local and global), with minimum supervision, and execute audit engagement activities including determination of scope, risk analysis and documentation of audit results, in line with Group Audit standards.

 

Job Responsibility:

  • Master Group Audit standards and methodology.
  • Auditor in Charge or assist the Senior Audit Manager in planning and determining the audit scope for relevant engagements and in reaching an agreement on the risk analysis.
  • Participate in local and global audits, engage with Center of Excellence as required to perform risk assessment, execute  audit fieldwork work, and document audit results in line with Group Audit standards.
  • Operate with minimum supervision on assignments, with required guidance and subsequent review.
  • Agree on corrective actions and deliver the final audit report, with support from the Senior Audit Manager for more technically challenging / complex / sensitive assignments.
  • Track the implementation of agreed actions.
  • Contribute to the Group Audit global team through own professional skills and technical knowledge.
  • Build and develop credible and influential relationships with Singapore management and represent Group Audit to attend various governance committees.
  • Develop own knowledge and business awareness by reviewing available resources and interacting with multiple stakeholders in executing the audit plan.
  • Achieve annual utilization target by tracking own utilization and proactively reaching out to internal stakeholders to undertake additional audit engagements, where possible.
  • Assist senior Group Audit stakeholders in reaching an agreement on the risk analysis, developing the rolling audit plan and performing audits to ensure high quality audit delivery.
  • Research primary audit data sources, select relevant information, analyze key themes and trends to provide inputs for policy development.
  • Provide audit advice to address specific technical queries from business stakeholders and deliver appropriate solutions in line with Group Audit standards.

 

Job Requirement:

 

  • Masters degree in Accounting, Insurance or equivalent 
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in insurance field or gained with sizable accounting firm
  • Preferred: CIA, CISA, CPA or relevant technical subject matter certification.
  • A good and effective team player
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Use data analytics in audit engagements, wherever possible.
