My client is a well-established service provider, and currently, they are looking for a Technical Service Manager with a background in infrastructure and service delivery, as well as prior experience in managing projects for the government/public sectors.

  • Participate in managing and leading a team for IT infrastructure services
  • Define and manage delivery plans covering projects for servers, networks, storage, hardware, etc.
  • Manage and ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure services to meet agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Work closely with business stakeholders from clients for problem resolution and escalation of projects
  • Plan and coordinate operational resources, including internal teams and external parties

    skills & experiences required.

    • Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline
    • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in managing IT infrastructure services/operations, with 5+ years in a leadership and client facing role is preferable
    • Prior experience working in IT service provider/consulting firm and managing any of government projects with a good understanding of their standards, practices, and documentation is a must
    • Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems, business applications, storage, and firewalls, etc.
    • Solid experience in project management, team management, and external vendor/contractor management
    • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks and practices (ITIL, COBIT, etc.) would be advantageous
    • Good interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in spoken Cantonese and English is a must
