Responsibilities:
- Act as a Responsible Officer, ensuring robust oversight of SFC-regulated activities in compliance with regulatory standards
- Implement the firm's investment banking strategies, maintaining strict adherence to internal policies and procedures
- Supervise the execution of corporate finance transactions including IPOs, financial advisory and other fund raising activities
- Manage corporate finance transactions which include due diligence work, record keeping, internal compliance work and coordination and management of other professional parties on the transactions
- Communicate with clients, professional parties and the regulators including the Stock Exchange and the SFC
- Assist the department head to manage corporate finance transactions which include internal approvals and compliance work
- Work independently in the origination/evaluation of potential deals, marketing initiatives, and management of client relationship
Requirements:
- Degree holder in accounting, finance, or law in a reputable university is preferred
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable
- Licensed as a Principal for Type 6 regulated activity (Advising on Corporate Finance) under the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC)
- Possess 8 - 10 years' relevant HK IPO / corporate finance experience with proven track record of supervising / managing IPO and financial advisory deals
- Extensive expertise in capital markets, regulatory frameworks, and industry guidelines, with a strong track record in initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and equity capital market transactions
- Excellent command of Mandarin Chinese and English
