An opportunity has risen with a leading, reputed buy side business who are seeking to expand their Middle Office Operations team in Hong Kong. The role requires the incumbent to have strong Equities Operations experience ideally from a buy side firm. Prior Investment banking middle office candidates will also be considered. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include: Take responsibility for the entire post trade life cycle including trade booking and any amendments/resolutions Be the key liaison between the Trading desk and all other internal and external support/administrative teams Review and validate daily reconciliations across internal systems and external counterparties. Ensure timely settlement of trades and resolve any discrepancies Handle margin calls and collateral management in coordination with Treasury and prime brokers To be eligible for this role you will require: A relevant degree and at least 8-10 years of working experience ideally from the buy side or an investment bank Strong knowledge of equities products essential A proven track record in post trade life cycle management is needed -from trade booking, settlements including corporate actions. Experience in working with prime brokers and fund administrators a strong advantage Excellent communication skills, along with analytical and problem-solving skills is necessary Please email your CV directly in word format to devi@theedgepartnership.com.
