We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Multi Asset Investment Specialist - HSBC Global Asset Management Principal Responsibilities This position will play a key role in supporting our strategic Asia Wealth business momentum and the development of Multi Asset investment solutions for our internal and external customers. The Investment Specialist is a multi-asset product and investment expert focused on supporting AM's range of multi-asset discretionary services and products and ensuring an effective link between portfolio management and distribution. In this role you will: Oversee HSBC Asset Management's multi-asset products and propose enhancements whilst maintaining solid understanding of competitive positioning Initiate and steer the evolution and innovation of multi asset products and services (e.g. fund launches, re-organization), acting as a key contact point for fund, advisory or discretionary launches and revamp Ensure that Multi Asset products are priced appropriately ensuring a fair value for our customers and maintaining the long-term objective of profitability for our shareholders Keep track of regulatory changes which have an impact on investment funds or advisory and discretionary solutions and coordinate with relevant stakeholders Coordinate with AM Product and Investment teams regarding bespoke mandate/solutions specifications Support AM product governance processes where applicable; support pricing negotiations Provide expertise on the funds and discretionary portfolio investment process, views and positions Provide timely comments on performance and ensure proactive communication is made in case of a market event" To be successful you will need: Proven experience working in a multi-asset role; whether as product specialist, sales, in research/fund management or investment consultancy/institutional role Experience working in a large global organization and working with the challenges posed by an international business function is highly advantageous Good understanding of MPF and Insurance CFA or equivalent post degree investment qualification Highly motivated and the ability to work independently Fluency in Cantonese, & English and ideally Mandarin The employment is subject to Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (MRCS) as per regulatory requirement.
